Is it ok to bring cut flowers in the house if pollen might be a problem?

Probably not: Fresh cut flowers have pollen and might stimulate allergic reactions in susceptible people. If you know you have family or close friends or family with pollen allergies why risk making them miserable!

Maybe: Pollen from bright colorful flowers is typically heavy and not windborne but pollinated by insects (bees, etc). The pollen that causes clinical allergy symptoms is from trees, grass and weeds.
