Burns and frostbite: are simialry graded in terms of depth of inury but Burns occur suddenly and often more severe burns take up a greater surface area . Frostbite is a more gradual process, but dont underesitmate the pain of forstbite in a delayed fashion, severe frostbite can be very painful, just that it typically is limited involved in the extremities.
