Color perception: Normal eyes detect a full range of spectrum in the color blind, the spectrum is limited and colors will be confused. It is most commonly inherited and permanent.Testing charts are available in all ophthalmologists office designed to have symbols made with dots that fall on the axis of confusion in a way that the color blind will make the wrong answer and establish the diagnosis.
