I had obstructive jaundice caused by CBD obstruction from gallstone. It took me 25 days for Ercp and my jaundice lasted for 25 days (total bilirubin 1.8). The levels came back to normal after Ercp but will 25 days of jaundice cause liver cirrhosis?
Age 64, check up found single gallstone 15 mm. No symptoms at all. Cholesterol, Calcium & Bilirubin are ok. Not sure to extrat the whole gallblade.
