Please help! what is the difference between ear discharge and bleeding from the ear?

Discharge = general: Discharge is a general term that simply means any type of substance leaking out from somewhere, such as pus, clear fluid, mucus, etc. As such, bleeding can be a type of discharge. Bloody discharge from the ear is known as bloody otorrhea.
