Reality: Who Knows?: Additional issues: applied to hair or ingested? Amounts, ratios compared to other factors etc. Hair shafts are complex protein structures fabricated for a period of time by the hair follicles with oils added by oil secreting cells in the skin around the hair shaft. Once growth stops, hair falls out. Most of the genetics ; control issues remain far too complex for current understanding/science.
