Probably normal: If you are only experiencing mild bleeding mixed in with the urine or spotting of blood in underwear with no other symptoms and it is self-limiting, it is likely vaginal in origin and related to mild trauma of the "virginal" tissues. If the blood is truly just in the urine, especially if associated with urinary urgency, frequency, burning, and voiding small amounts, it likely represents a uti.
