See answer: Trimebutin, a medication used to treat symptoms associated with ibs, has antispasmodic, antimuscarinic pharmacological properties which also inhibit the bladder muscle from contacting and emptying. Though trimebutin is generally well tolerated and the incidence of urinary retention is low , it is likely what is causing your voiding difficulties. Recommend you discuss this with your md.
