Ultrasound diagnosis: Consists of myriad of tiny calcifications throughout testis. Invariably an incidental finding at ultrasound (us) for undescended testis, varicocele, hydrocele or painful testis. We used to think it was a premalignant condition because men with testis tumors had higher incidence of tm than men without. In fact serial us of males with tm have not developed tumors. Poss. Related to sub fertility.
