Late ovulation: Ovulatory cycles may vary in wome with gynecological conditions like pco, anorexia, extreme excersicing, galactorrhea etc. Depending on the cause that you are not seeing regular cycles it would give us at least and estimate of your chances of getting pregnant. However unprotected sex can lead to pregnancy even in the case you are presenting.

Sure: If you have unprotected sex, you can conceive. With irregular cycles it would be much more difficult to use nfp for contraception.
