Should u worry if ur urine tested positive for blood during a kidney infection but the dipstick showed no sign of infection sent to.lab now?

See answer: If there was not an abnormal number of white cells (leukocytes) in the urine and the primary abnormal finding in the urinalysis was only the presence of blood, i would question the diagnosis of a kidney infection and look for other causes of your symptoms and microscopic blood (stone, incidental, etc). Urine culture results is what will or will not validate a uti. Ct scan imaging likely needed.
