No sugar Yes veggies: One can make meals out of veggies. Some veggies can be raw, others can be cooked . . . Lots of variety! grains are usually counted as veggies, so brown rice, corn, etc..., are fine. Beans have protein (fruits don't really have protein). If one stretches the definition of veggies, she can even include the "fruit veggies" such as tomatoes and cucumbers (things that have seeds are officially fruits).
