A member asked:

How does a hianal heina feel?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hiatus/hiatal hernia: That's when the top part of the stomach slides past the diaphragm into the chest. This allows the acid to be able to go freely into the esophagus and cause the symptoms of gerd such as acid in the chest, burping, sometimes heat in your lungs, could be nausea and acid/bitter taste.
