ACDF: Your question doesn't give a starting point as to what MORE is but your surgeon should spend time going over how the procedure is done and its risks/benefits. Always get a second opinion. By and large, this is a helpful surgery from the front of the neck for painful disc problems. Typical side effects are trouble with swallowing and voice, mostly temporarily. Happy to answer more specifics.
