A member asked:

What obstacles to overcome cleft palate?

Surgery: I consider this more of a valuable treatment than an obstacle. Depending on your location and access to care, finding an appropriate surgeon may be difficult. Full treatment may involve orthodontics and dental implants as well. Find a good general dentist and seek referral for appropriate specialty care. It will be a long yet rewarding pathway to treatment.
