Audiologist: This question is best answered by an audiologist, a person who dispenses hearing aids. The technology in the hearing aid industry has made such great technological advances that there may be computerized aids (expensive) that can decrease the volume of the amplification when you enter a noisy room and then automatically increase the volume in a quiet room. Ask your hearing aid dealer.
