Hi doctors, was just wondering what is acanthamoba keratitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Amoeba infection: This is the symptomatic aspect of infection of the cornea with an amoeba. This can happen from swimming in bodies of water especially in the south, or from using tap or unsterile water to flush a lens. There is treatment for this but do not wait if you suspect this condition.
