A member asked:

Can a octreotide scan be able to detect any abnormality of the structure of the heart or any heart disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably Not: An octreotide scan is commonly used to locate neuroendocrine tumors. So i doubt it is being used for any kind of heart disease.
