Infected Cyst: What you describe may be a sebaceous cyst (clogged hair follicle) or a bartholin's cyst. Either can get infected by the normal bacteria in the area when the opening gets blocked. If there isn't an infection, you may not have any pain. If it becomes symptomatic, you should see your doctor for evaluation.
