Yes, but...: Yes, some people have a good sense of smell and can smell the aroma of period blood, if paying attention to it. The aroma is less if one changes pads before they get soaked. But, don't think about it too much, or you'll start to act differently around people. Animals like dogs, of course, can smell a period from a distance. If one has a BV infection, the smell becomes an odor and more noticeable.
