A member asked:

Should a heart disease patient eat nuts? if so, what kinds?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nuts: It was previously thought that all nuts were bad because of their fat content, however, this is not necessarily true. There are good fats and bad fats. This is true of nuts-- walnuts and almonds are better than peanuts and pistachio. Of course these are unsalted natural nuts.
