Treat Herpes: I am sure you understand that this is a prediction that cannot be made. What can lessen his outbreaks is getting him on treatment for the outbreak and then treatment to keep the virus suppressed. I would also search for the family member who gave him this infection and get them on treatment to suppress viral shedding so that there is an attempt to lessen the risk to others.
