?vertigo: Dizziness can be either vertigo(spinning feeling) or lightheadedness. Vertigo often causes associated nausea and at times vomiting. An inner ear dysfunction is a frequent cause of vertigo. Lightheadedness with nausea can occur with upset stomach, medication, viral infections, etc.
