I was put on lorazepam 1mg 2x's a day. i never took it like that, i didn't want to be addicted. now im taking 1 whole pill a day &i feel tired next day?

Therapy/ 1/2mg tab?: Lorazepam is not a cure-all for anxiety. It may be useful to talk with a therapist about the things which are making you anxious. While 1-2 mg/day is not a high dosage, it can be habit forming. Lorazepam does come 1/2mg tablets so one can take take it twice per day if that is needed and helpful.Usually this medication would not be taken on a long term basis.

Side effect.: Likely side effect of the med. Should consider trying half a tab or changing the time you take the med to see if you can change this.
