A member asked:

Will my eardrum burst when an airbag goes off?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually not: Air bags can rupture tympanic membranes or cause hearing loss but that is relatively rare. Not having airbag is much more dangerous in car accident than the chance of ear injury.
