Yes: Sperm can live for several days. So before and after ovulation is considered your most fertile period. Unless you want conceive, use birth control routinely since the ovulation day changes a bit from cycle to cycle by a day or two. It is rare to be perfectly on the dot on day 14 of a28 day cycle.
