I was wondering what are the long term-effects of taking hydrocodone (lorcet) + acetaminophen daily?

It depends: Lorcet (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) contains acetaminophen. I would discuss with the doctor who gave you the medicine about your daily total dose of Acetaminophen and your liver function. I would also tell you, there is not a reason for you to take Lorcet (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) long term. It is a short acting medicine used for a short time. Problems that aren't going away anytime soon, need a long acting medicine, not a short acting one.

Not too long: Taking narcotics like oxycodone for a long period of time may have side effects such as constipation, building tolerance to narcotics, dependence on narcotics, addiction.
