I was wondering what are the particles that make a fart stink?

Chemicals: These are mosly end products of bacterial metabolism that produce, in particular, sulfa chemicals which our sense of smell is particularly attuned to picking up. They are not particles although some particulate matter may have these chemicals attached to them.
