I was wondering what are the social ramifications for those afflicted with fragile x syndrome?

Fragile X Behavior: Fragile x is a leading cause of intellectual disability and many people with fragile x meet the criteria for autism. There can be disturbances in language/communication, social anxiety, social deficits including poor eye contact and shyness. There is also an increased risk of other mental disorders. Each person with fragile x should be seen as a person with individual strengths and weaknesses.
