It's possible: When a woman on birth control pills has a period different than what she usually has on the pill - a lot lighter - it makes sense to check a pregnancy test. Though birth control pills are very reliable, they aren't totally effective, and it is common for women to be late or miss pills, and that can increase the possibility of pregnancy.
