Yes: If the person whose cigarette you are sharing has active lesions then you definitely are at risk. Even if this person doesn't have active lesions he/she might be shedding virus and can be contagious. It is best to not share cigs, or maybe consider quitting.

Yes if...: The object (cigarette) was wet with saliva, the virus can be transmitted . But you have to have the right environment also (cut) for this to be more likely to happen. Wait a week or so if herpes start to appear , treat as soon as possible . Antiviral medicine must be prescribed by a doctor.
