Shortness of breath: Abdominal swelling could be from fluid accumulation. If so youn could be havingh fluid in thge lungs too. If not increased girth of the abdomen could impair movements of the diaphragm and causes shortness of breath. You need full physical exam and work-up. Oplease consult your physician.
