Short of...: Abstinence, there are no guarantees of not getting pregnant. Seeing a gynecologist to start birth control pills, as well as using condoms to prevent both pregnancy and sexually transmissible infections (sti's), and not having sex near your mid cycle (most common time of ovulation is midcycle), is a good start if you do not want to be pregnant.
