A member asked:

Something skin like and blooding came out of my vagina, im on my period, what is it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blood: Blood is made up of red blood cells and plasma. When the plasma portion of your blood coagulates, sometimes it can look stringy, like tissue. In addition, the lining of your uterus contains tissue looking cells, and this could also look like, as you say, skin. At this point, so long as you weren't pregnant and miscarried, everything you're describing is likely perfectly normal.
