Blood types: I am not sure what a1 blood type means. By the ab0 system, there is 0, a, b, and ab types. Some countries use 1, 2, 3, 4 which corresponds to 0, a, b, and ab, so a would be 2, but not 1. Now the rhesus factor can be + or -. I understand that your partner is female (assumption) and she is rh(esus) negative (-). If she conceives (it really matters in that case), and her baby is rh+, it's a mismatch.
