Anemia: Anemia is very curable. Usually it is due to a nutritional deficiency, like not enough vitamin (c or b12) or not enough iron. This is one of the reasons that a 1-a-day multiple vitamin with iron is a good idea for everyone. In other cases it may be due to certain medications that have a bad reaction to the blood cells; then just avoid the medication. Very rare causes include leukemia.

Depends on the cause: Majority of anemia can be cured- as long as you know the cause- i.e. Iron deficiency anemia, vit B12 deificiency, bleeding. Some anemia can only be treated but it is very difficult to be cured - for instance- myelodysplastic syndrome, sickle cell anemia, thalassemia, congenital anemia such as diamond -blackfan syndrome, fanconi's anemia etc. Bone marrow transplant is considered sometimes.
