A raised rash: The rash of shingles usually starts as red spots which become raised and blister. They can eventually develop pus than scab over.The rash is localized to a specific area of the body following the course of an underlying spinal or cranial nerve and does not cross the mid line of the body pain can occur before, during and after the outbreak.
