A member asked:

Which is the name for the vaccine for cholera and how does it work?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Builds immunity: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/cholera_vaccine. All vaccines are meant to stimulate an immune response to the infection for which the vaccine is designed...In cholera dead germs are used to be taken orally or injected to create an immune response so if the person were exposed to cholera they would not get it or have a milder case as a result.
