OAB: Overactive bladder is generally not treated with surgery but instead is more of a nerve issue so modulating the nerves that control bladder function is how we treat OAB. This could be medications, nerve stimulation or Botox or some combination of these. Initial treatment voiding on a schedule only when you say to go and not giving in to abnormal urges (bladder training).
