Post partum: If you are breastfeeding then a lack of periods is expected. If you have had sex then check a pregnancy test to see if you are pregnant again. If you are 48 as your profile states you may be entering menopause. If you would like your menstrual cycle to start see a doctor and there are many options to regulate the cycle.
