A member asked:

If i'm sleeping and i turn on one side, my eyes start tearing up. why does that happen and how can i make that stop?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal: The tears drain through openings in both the upper and lower lids that are found near the nose. If you turn your head to the side, the tears have no option other than to run out the side of the eye since they are flowing away from the drains.
