No: Pharyngitis is usually caused by a virus, so antibiotics are useless and not indicated. There are two common exceptions, streptococcal pharyngitis (strep throat), and pharyngitis due to gonorrhea or chlamydia. Ciprol (ciprofloxacin) would not be an appropriate antibiotic for any of those infections.
