Hives : Some individuals have what is referred to as cholinergic urticaria --- hives brought on my heat. The increased temperature can cause a release of histamine , resulting in itching , redness and swellings (hives).

Cholinergic urticari: If this is what you have antihistamines would help. Do you get red little bumps.
