Probably early: With your last period starting 12/13, if you have period once a month then ovulation would be around 12/27. So spotting the last few days should be too early for ovulation spotting. This could be a normal variation and nothing to worry about. If it continues it could be due to infection in the cervix, or a growth like a polyp in the cervix or uterus.
