Just did it??: If so, cool washcloth with ice cube in it to cool ; relieve pain. If just done also cannot be infected as yet. If few days old and still hurts, then suspicious may be infected--if small area, can apply topical antibacterial ointment. If size of palm or larger or across a joint or all-the-way-around a finger/limb, need to see dr.
