Are there effective herbal therapies to prevent a listeria infection?

NO: Hepatitis b is a dna virus which will infect its host regardless of race. However, this virus is passed through blood and vaginal or seminal fluids, which has resulted in increased frequency of infection within drug seeking populations or populations engaging in unprotected sex. Please see your physician if you suspect infection.

No: Individuals at high risk to develop listerosis, e.g. Pregnant women, immunocompromised ones, should * avoid soft cheeses * avoid foods from delicatessen counters, e.g., prepared salads, meats. * avoid raw or unpasteurized milk * avoid refrigerated pates and other meat spreads and cook leftover foods or ready-to-eat foods until steaming hot before eating.
