Evaluation needed: Serious itching to the point of bleeding indicates a probably underlying issue that needs evaluation. Your dermatologist can help you with this. I assume you have already regularly used an anti-dandruff shampoo and have no environmental exposure which might contribute to an allergic reaction in your scalp.
