How are broken collarbone/fractured clavicle injuries treated?

Majority are treated: In a sling + pain meds, but some are treated surgically if the bone fragments are widely separated, or if its an open fx (skin is broken over the fx site), or if there is an associated injury to a nerve or a vessel.

Non-surgically.: Usually they are treated non-surgically and heal uneventfully. however, there are exceptions. You should see an orthopedic sports medicine shoulder specialist for the proper care.
