Should i be concerned if my father had a aaa surgery in july and now its leaking?

Type?: Conventional AAA aortic replacement, no chronic leaks. AAA treated with endoprosthesis are prone to develop endoleaks. That is why the rupture rate for aaa's treated with endo prosthesis is not zero but 3%over 5 years. That is why long term follow up is required with cat scan. Depending on size of AAA sac and type of endoleak, may need conventional surgical repair.
