High arched palate: Unless there is another issue, i would agree with your pediatrician and not be concerned about it. In itself, it is not problematic at this time (and perhaps never). When your child is about 1 year old (or when he\she starts to get teeth), see a dentist for the first check-up. This should be done for all children. Later on you may be referred to an orthodontist to evaluate teeth\jaw development.
